I had this issue with wine 9.17, 9.18 and wine-staging. Tested in various
versions of Rhinoceros installer, most recently
rhino_en-us_8.11.24254.15001.exe.

The installer crashes quite early with:
libc++abi: terminating due to uncaught exception of type std::bad_alloc:
std::bad_alloc
