http://www.lamaresh.net/apt squeeze main)
$ wine --version
wine-1.0.1
- Cleaned out ~/.wine
rm -rf ~/.wine
- In winecfg, set version to Windows 98
- added Gecko:
$ sh winetricks

All done, no errors.

- Placed OmniPage PRO 12 CD in the drive and mounted it

- Ran the setup
