--- Comment #5 from Yolande Haneder yolande@haneder.biz 2007-11-18 07:12:21 --- Bug 9433 is still there but I am not worrying about it:
first of all because CrossOver which is based on Wine does not have it so I think it will be solved sometimes when CrossOver sends their patch to Wine. Secondly I just need it for the net to start. My best guess as I read about it is that it is delivering me the certificates for the dlls I am adding since it is not enough to add the runtime dlls (as from the last versions of Visual Studio).
My application is not based on Visual Basic, it is a Java application tied with word (through the .dot file for Word or sdlx requiring the Visual Basic for Application).
Trados 2007 is not available anymore directly from the website. At the moment Trados 2007 SP1 is out, I find it buggy(I am not able to install it myself on XP and there had been many reported installation problems). I am then using the version from March.
Any Trados version can be a demo version when no license is found. I can send you my version on your server if you want (around 300 MB). Otherwise you have to contact SDL.
I am not using any winetrick. Any patch or tricks is pure Chinese to me sine I do not even have the basic knowledge about programming. I think this is why some get upset with my methods. I am fully shooting in the dark and one day I hit something and went that way.
I think the dlls I am using are known from Wine, sometimes they are in the package, sometimes not (you can again find the list in 10384.
