HOORAY! IT WORKED!
Built from wine-5.13 tag, with staging patches tagged v5.13. And also against vkd3d at HEAD. Now it works. (Although Battle.net.exe now locks up on exit. That's... somewhat unfortunate.)
Try adding 2 patches from bug #49590 too, this fixes Battle.net app issues for me.
The " 2 patches from bug #49590 " amount to reverting the "ntdll-Heap_Improvements" patchset from 5.13-staging.
I agree that this also fixed the issue for me.
