yes, just tested. The attached patch makes the app start fine. The line 
if (!status)

looks incorrect anyway to me, as STATUS_SUCCESS is equal to 0, so in that case
i would expect to return TRUE, intstead of FALSE what the current code does.
However, not 100% sure if this fix is correct. Could someone more ecperienced
have a look?
