Summary: application fails to start because of SSHDRV82.sys (probably) Product: Wine Version: CVS Platform: PC URL: http://www.braingame.de/produkte/produkt_g4_23.html OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-files AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: kilgus@fuenfsieben.de
The application (have a look at URL if you like) - unfortunately I don't know of any demo version available for download - fails to start with the following messages:
err:module:import_dll Library ntoskrnl.exe (which is needed by L"C: \windows\system32\drivers\SSHDRV82.sys") not found err:module:import_dll Library HAL.dll (which is needed by L"C: \windows\system32\drivers\SSHDRV82.sys") not found err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C: \windows\system32\drivers\SSHDRV82.sys" failed, status c0000135 fixme:advapi:GetFileSecurityW (L"c:\windows\profiles\All Users\Dokumente\PCD312.L!C") : returns fake SECURITY_DESCRIPTOR fixme:advapi:GetFileSecurityW (L"c:\windows\profiles\All Users\Dokumente\PCD312.L!C") : returns fake SECURITY_DESCRIPTOR
At the same time a dialog appears "Bitte legen Sie einen Datenträger in ihr CD-/DVD-Laufwerk ein und starten sie die Anwendung erneut" (= "Please insert medium in your CD/DVD drive and restart application") which I confirm and then I'm back at the command line.
In case this information might be useful: Executing "wineboot" after installation of the application triggers the following message:
err:menubuilder:extract_icon32 LoadLibraryExW (L"C: \Programme\Lauftrainer\Lauftrainer.ico") failed, error 193 err:menubuilder:InvokeShellLinker failed to extract icon.
