Behaviour with your patch Roderick isn't as "stable" as with Alexander's patch.

It sometimes works to get into the game, sometimes the screen stays black. I'm
currently experimenting inside my XFCE environment, going to do some test in a
failsafe environment without window manager.

The visual errors (vertical colored lines) stay however, IF I manage to get
in-game.

I have posted a message to the mesa3d-users ml asking them for help about the
PBO "problem".

Any traces I can do?
