can't reproduce, works fine. Please use a clean WINEPREFIX and 'winetricks vb6run'.
Loading/editing BIOS file (for example ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/travelmate_6410/bios/v3.04.zip) works. DMI, ACPI editor, splash screen.
