[Bug 9613] Babelgum: program doesn't start (also affects Firefox 3)

In version 0.9.52 the GDI32 error is resolved.
Babelgum starts but the screen remains black, the console prints
"fixme:winsock:WSAIoctl unsupported WS_IOCTL cmd (9800000c)" every two or three
seconds.
