Bug ID: 43413 Summary: msciexec.exe error prevents installation of Quicken Basic 2007 Product: Wine Version: 1.6.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: don.karon@gmail.com Distribution: ---

Installed Wine via Ubuntu Gnome 16.04.2 software store. Ran winecfg. Tried to install Quicken Basic 2007 (which runs in Wine on my other computers) but the install crashes. The file "backtrace.txt" is attached.
I tried installing directly from the Quicken CD and, alternatively, copied all files from the CD to the SSD and tried to install from there. Both fail in the same way.
The file "backtrace.txt" first line states "assertion failed in 32-bit code". I've previously installed 32 bit support for Linux. Is there a 32 bit support that I need to install in winecfg?
Other suggestions?
Thank you.
