While investigating bug 42004, I found that currently the patches available in
staging do not always create certain symlinks properly. Unsure if it has
something to do with the original bug or something has changed since it was
once declared to be fixed in staging.

1. Due to an incorrect string length issue, garbage characters may be added to
the end of linked path.
2. Outside of current working directory, creating "${WINEPREFIX}" link may
silently fail.

I attached patches that fix both of the mentioned issues and would like someone
to review and hopefully help getting them included into existing patches in
staging.
