It probably shouldn't be marked UNCONFIRMED anymore, as we now have 3 people able to produce the same error. I noticed that DOOM had very similar issues launching, and someone was able to fix it. I don't really understand how the fix works and haven't done too much reading on it, so it may be wishful thinking, but could a similar approach be used to fix this crash, as it is a similar issue?
