[Bug 56649] Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 crashes on startup

First, I installed the game on a fresh prefix:

$ export WINEPREFIX=$HOME/Games/THPS3Demo/prefix/
$ wine ~/Downloads/Thps3Demo.exe

Then I ran the game with the following commands:

$ export WINEPREFIX=$HOME/Games/THPS3Demo/prefix/
$ wine prefix/drive_c/Program\ Files\ (x86)/Activision/Thps3Demo/Skate3.exe

Then I clicked on the "Play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Demo" button on the Setup
window, and a black window briefly appeared then disappeared.

The full version behaves almost the same, except for the "serious problem"
dialog.
