[Bug 31635] Font rendering regression 1.5.x series

Hi, thanks for looking into this bug. Unfortunately, I don't think my technical
skills are up to the task of running a regression test. Would it help if I
could find a simple, freely available Windows program that is affected by this
bug so that a developer can test the affect of the different patches and see
the result for himself?
