I see the same problem with Wine-1.3.18: fonts are so large that text doesn't
fit into the pages of the books. The issue can be observed right after starting
a new game: a date is shown on the screen (1912) but the four digits are so big
that the date is split in two lines on the screen.

I also have the lines
fixme:font:CreateScalableFontResourceW .... stub
showing up in the terminal.

I couldn't try the patch (in bug #3498) because compilation always ended with
errors, on whichever Wine version I applied the patch.
