Bug #: 30880 Summary: Depth Hunter: pictures missing from photo album without native d3dx9_36 Product: Wine Version: 1.5.6 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3dx9 AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: gyebro69@gmail.com CC: wine-bugs@winehq.org Classification: Unclassified
Since bug #30137 has been fixed I can take photos in the game, using only built-in d3dx9* dlls, however, photos don't show up in the game photo gallery. When I open the photo gallery, pictures are surely there, because they're selectable, but each frame, containing a photo, is empty/blank. Photos are saved on disk in bmp format, under ~/DepthHunter/Photos directory and I can open the files with any Linux image viewer.
Native d3dx9_36.dll is a workaround.
Wine doesn't provide anything suspicious in the terminal, so here I'm attaching a +d3dx debug log. A demo for Depth Hunter does exist but in-game photo gallery is not available in the demo.
