note: install-picasa2.run is a shell script that
unpacks a slightly dated version of Wine.

The same problem was reported here, I think:

Many non-Wine apps are affected by this and print the
same error; supposedly adding the user to the 'video' group
is a fix/workaround.  See e.g.

So the question is -- is this something Wine can do anything
about, or is it a distro or Nvidia issue, or both?
