There has been a new version release which seems to have helped. With Version
4.0b pro 2008-05-27 it looks like a different lib is being used to do the 3d
stuff and in most cases it now works. If you use the Configure menu item and
then the texture tab and change the select texture to LOPAM photographic the
texture mapping fails.
Tested with wine-1.1.14-328-g8496db4
