Hi, I guess it would help if someone confirms if the program in question is the
one from the downloadlink i posted:

Is that the program?

As i stated in comment 2: It started fine for me in Staging, did you try if it
starts fine Staging? If so, the cause of the crash should be not so difficult 
to find
