relevant part of +menubuilder trace of winrar install after making windows\temp

The first trace showed that wine was looking for the files to extract from in
windows\temp, which did not exist and therefore would make it fail.  So I
created windows\temp, uninstalled, and reinstalled, and got a different
problem.  New trace attached..
