/usr/include/GL/gl.h says 0x501 is GL_INVALID_VALUE, which can mean different things depending on the failing call.
I tried the Multiplayer Demo, when I find some free minutes I'll download the Resistance demo. But yet the log you sent looks perfectly fine. Unfortunately I can't provide you with a gl app that definitly shows the same bug, since most likely other parameters are involved too and I can't predict which.
Whenever I have some time I'll try some games on my university's terminals, they have Intel cards and since a few weeks 3D acceleration enabled. But ETA on that either :-(
