For me, ALSA is selected. Pulseaudio is running on this system, although there
is no selection for it in the 'audio' tab.

However, this bug has occured when I had just ALSA on the system, just OSS, and
now Pulseaudio. I don't think this is specific to a given audio server /
driver.
