Being a noob and wanting to avoid complicating things with a bad guess on my part, would someone please post the type-in to add the .reg file cleanly?
regedit foo.reg
Ditto for using "+setupapi" in the right place.
WINEDEBUG=+setupapi wine foo.exe >& log.txt
