You are using wine 1.7.44, the app requires the current 1.7.49. You can ask for whoever produced the packages about when they will release the current wine version. You can also compile wine from source.
Unfortunately I am very rusty when it comes to compiling (last time I did it was around 2000!) so I will just have to wait for the release of 1.7.49 (because I updated my sources and added the ubuntu wine ppa and that was what I got when I installed wine1.7) or just play the game on the "game PC" which is Windows. I was just really hoping to install it on my laptop. I've had luck with other games using wine, so I was hopeful for this to work too.
