--- Comment #9 from rokk@mailbox.org --- I have the same thing happening with a wired g502 HERO on wine (wine-8.21), wine-staging and lutris runners, Steam Proton works fine though. I checked with Wayland and Xorg, kernel 6.6.2 and 6.1 lts, nothing changed the behavior.
What did change it was switching to a new wired g502X, no idea why that fixes it, but no more 1s disconnects on starting up programs through wine. If I plug in the old mouse the hiccups are back.
