Hello,

I installed and played World of Tanks last week and I didn't encounter that
issue.

The Steam version of the game is fully playable as far as I can tell.
I installed 'arial' with winetricks for Steam (bug 32342) and enabled a
full-screen virtual desktop in a fresh win64 wineprefix (Shared WoW64 build of
Wine 9.0-rc3).
I didn't have to use any other workarounds (Staging, dxvk or overrides).

This is a constantly updated online game and so I don't think it's possible to
use the old 1.1 client. The current client is 1.23.1 from January 2024.
