This may be a window manager bug, or a result of hacks placed into window
managers, or a result of how wine handles the menu(or maybe all three). Openbox
does not display this behavior, however the panel with the tray icons will
cover up a part of the menu.

Putting the panel on the side of the screen "fixes" this problem.
