IMHO to solve this problem would be needed some deep changes on dib/gdi routines, which are far beyond my wine skills. The only stuff I'm still sure is that dropping TT fonts from autocad drawings speeds up enormously the stuff, as normal vector fonts are rendered from inside autocad itself skipping wine fonts routines. Maybe the (future ?) implementation of a DIB engine will solve the problem.
