A rough translation would be:

"Hi folks,

we're using Suse 10.2 and wine for a windows-based emulation program. It 
generally worked without flaws. Support for German umlauts was a problem up 
until version 0.9.27, version 0.9.35 fixed this. However, now the serial port 
support is broken in 0.9.35, while it worked without any problems in 0.9.27. I 
downgraded, of course. Is that a known problem or is there any configuration 
options I need to change?

that being said, I'm surprised that Umlauts were broken before, and I have no 
idea about the serial port stuff.
