There's a demo download available at least on FilePlanet ( http://www.fileplanet.com/60713/60000/fileinfo/Independence-War-2:-The-Edge-... ). However, even though the retail game runs, I failed to get an actual game running with the demo version, so I'm not sure how much help it will be.
