--- Comment #5 from Lukáš Chmela lukaschmela@gmail.com 2010-01-29 11:47:45 --- Well, I have installed wine 1.1.17 from a wine archive, used the "winetricks msxml6 gdiplus gecko vcrun2005" command from the appdb page for Photoshop CS4, then used Nikolay's hack with installing ie6 through winetricks and PS CS4 installed well.
Then I used the wine regedit /D "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\adfs" command to just get it start and upgraded wine to 1.1.36 (it was not able to start with version 1.1.17).
It now works like a charm (possibly also with the new wine 1.1.37) and with the original .wine directory (Ubuntu Karmic) that I used for installation!
