What about making a Wine GUI to behave more like emulators like VirtualBox.
Wine actually aims to better integrate with X11 desktop, not be a sandbox of some kind.
It's extremely hard right now to get Wine in desktop mode.
How hard is it to run winecfg, switch to Graphics tab, and turn off the "Allow the window manager to control the windows"?
