Hi,
I think I did what I had to do... Let me describe what I did, and please tell me if I did something wrong:
- Uninstall previous version on Wine via Synaptics, and manually delete
/home/'Users'/.Wine
- Reboot
I precise that wine's sources and your patch are in the same folder.
Then, in a terminal ("cd in the folder") -Patch -p1 < new_text.txt -./configure -make -sudo make install
- reboot

and I got the same crash. So i'll confirm the bug. If you want you can try the attached hack to get the installer running and installing, but it's not a fix for this bug. Someone who knows more about gdi32 should probably have a look at this big
