Could you perhaps implement something more modern, e.g. B-Spline, Lanczos or ewa_lanczossharp found in mpv?
**At the very least it would be nice to see Integer Scaling (nearest-neighbor) in Wine.**
Oftentimes it looks better than any advanced floating point upscale algorithms because it's just sharp.
And it's pretty much de-facto for console emulators.
