HeidiSQL 7.0 seems to be from 2011, any reason for that old version?

Anyways, I can reproduce "a" crash with wine-9.20

Just run the heidisql.exe, and click the "New" button.

The regression first got introduced in wine-9.19, bisected to be a dupe of bug
57306. Maybe that is the same crash OP has?
