Not sure,never happened to me, maybe a component need the account registered?
Do you think a SHAssocEnumHandlersForProtocolByApplication stub would work? Or if SHAssocEnumHandlers was implemented maybe it can share part of the functionalitye
I have no idea yet. I could look into this later, but point is I have a Microsoft account, so i don't need to create one really. I'll look into this next weekend if you don't beat me, as I don't have access to this machine during week.
Meanwhile at least I got a success: I was able to compile simple Hello World console app by just unplugging my ethernet wire cable after the "license expired " window appeared: I just clicked the "Exit Visual Studio" button, but the GUI stayed alive and responsive for enough time to select and execute the "Build solution " menu item and the Hello World was successfully built
I think this is now very close to basic working; please report any new findings and thanks for your work on this. I'll do more testing next weekend
