So, off the top of my mind:

- given that recently faudio became one of the libs wine started to embed, your
version of that lib adds no info, as it's not used
- provide a bigger chunk of the output

- finally, just a guess, but the problem might be the same as with Supreme
Commander (going by google, these games are from roughly same period) - the
game might be using an older format not supported by faudio

...unless what you wanted to say was that it did work in previous versions...
