How can you declare something abandoned when I just commented on it? It's my bug report. To me it's non-issue.
The "Completing Installation 1%" box is normal steam behavior. I see it all of the time for other applications that have trouble starting. When I fix what the problem with offending game is, the box goes away the next time I try to start it. What I'm saying is I'm used to it.
Maybe ABANDONED isn't the correct resolution but certainly NOTOURBUG wasn't either. Here's a quick cheat sheet:
- ABANDONED: the original bug reported disappeared or doesn't care about the bug anymore (and there is no easy way for anyone else to retest - that usually means no download URL) - FIXED: the bug was fixed in Wine; it can be reproduced with an older Wine version but not with current Wine - INVALID: it's an application bug or it isn't a bug to begin with - NOTOURBUG: the bug isn't in Wine but it is in one of the libraries used by Wine (upstream) or in whoever distributes Wine (downstream)
Feel free to choose whichever resolution matches better. Otherwise you can also reopen the bug.
