[Bug 10629] Installing Windows Media Player 9 crashes

What is the download url you're using?
I did use the official version from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/9series/default.aspx and
additionally a few others I found - all with the same result.
I did install msxml3 so I could override it - having now removed this override,
it still crashes although on another point.
