Summary: “You can only set Runs? to ‘Not installable’' if the application's installer does not work” Product: WineHQ.org Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: www-unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: acheron@front.ru
The Applications Database does not allow to submit correct forms for applications which do not install properly, but work if installed some other way (e.g. by manually unpacking the .cab file).
If submitter selects "Installs: No", the only allowed choice for "Runs" is "Not installable". This is wrong for applications that can somehow be installed without their native installer. For those "Runs: Yes" and "Runs: No" should be available, leaving "Not installable" only for the ones impossible to install in any other way.
