I made the same test and can confirm. I still got a crash (related a NotImplemented call probably related to a QueryBlanket call) but could not figured out why it happened.
Hi Lorenzo, I saw that yesterday too, but I'm not sure if it was really fatal error.
I have another question really: I reinstalled visual studio (native msxml6) with more components (vs_installer.exe install --channelId VisualStudio.16.Release --channelUri "https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/channel" --productId Microsoft.VisualStudio.Product.Community --add Microsoft.VisualStudio.Workload.NativeDesktop;includeRecommended --quiet) and now I'm getting the old problem again: a window that tells me that my license has expired.
I didn't see that yesterday, so do you have any idea to get around this? I thought Community has trial period of 30 days and is free anyway. I also logged in into my Microsoft account but it tells me updated license couldn't be downloaded. So stuck again for now, you have any idea how to work around this?
Side-note: yet another unimplemented function crash when I click "Create new account": wine: Call from 7B0117A7 to unimplemented function SHELL32.dll.SHAssocEnumHandlersForProtocolByApplication, aborting
