[Bug 23758] New: XML Copy Editor save dialog 'new folder' creates new directory but does not show it

I create a new file with XML Copy Editor.
In the save dialog it has the usual 'create new folder' button
Clicking this does not appear to have any effect.
If I then check the directory there a multiple folders 'New Folder', 'New
Folder 1' etc which are not shown in the save dialog.
This doesn't produce any terminal output.
I am using native msvcrt to overcome
