[Bug 20380] Heroes of Might and Magic III hangs

I asked Alexandre about the signal patch and to him it looks like a potential
kernel bug. Perhaps it would be useful if people could try the sample app on
another OS like FreeBSD, Solaris or OSX. Even better would also be to try Homm3
on those operating systems, to see if it occurs there at all.
