Lemmix in PC-BSD/FreeBSD

I can't get Wine to output anything from the Terminal in PC-BSD, using GNOME 2.

To reproduce this bug using Lemmix in PC-BSD (FreeBSD): get the lemmings
closest together - release rate 99, as shown in the screenshot (level 1, rating
"tricky"). Watch how the game itself and the time in the bottom-right briefly
"pauses" each time the lemmings go into the "home".
