Let's take this one step at a time. The first problem is the installer
crashing, so this bug will be for just that.

FYI, Both installing the game on Windows, then copying the game to Linux, and
using IE4Linux are not supported by Wine.

Please use bugzilla's attachment feature to attach log files. If the log files
are too big, compress them first.

Also, your copy of Wine does not have debugging symbols.
