The work around of unchecking the box in winecfg for Allowing the Window
Manager to control the windows - does still allow the menu to function
correctly.

That workaround however does not allow minimizing to the Task Bar, it minimizes
in the old Windows 3.1 manner.

I have tried unchecking individually all option in the Window Manager, as well
as all options, could not replicate the ability to allow the Menu to function
correctly.
