Another workaround is to patch the installer executable from ROC CD. You need to copy ROC CD contents to a temporary location and edit Install.exe in a hex editor (e.g. ghex2). Go to offset 0x11326 and replace value 75 with EB, save&exit and execute it. The installer for FT doesn't need to be patched.
