I have attached an image which shows how to apply the fix for "content servers unreachable" issue with Steam. Aimed at helping users who are unfamiliar with wine who have Googled the issue and found this ticket.
If using the default wine prefix on Ubuntu (and any other distro) the file can be found like this:
Open Nautilus (file explorer) Press ctrl+h to view hidden folders Find ".wine" Open the virtual C drive folder>program files (x86)>Steam....etc Add the line which Fabian Maurer has specified (in the location of my screenshot_
Hi, do you know of a way to locate this file on Mac, is it the same or would it be different. I can understand if you do not, however I am having this issue and would like a resolve. Thanks -TomatoSauce
