Pops up an error rather quickly for me, with error code 0x80040714.
Same here, including with msxml3 with wine-1.3.29-121-gfdda702. Seems like either the original msxml bug is fixed or there is a new regression.
I don't see a "Connecting to Internet" message but that may be due to Google changing the installer.
Does it work in Windows?
