--- Comment #17 from Dr 4asm ignas2526@gmail.com --- I have this issue too with Cossacks Back To War. Game runs fine, except for crazy flickering and top of the screen, about 1/5 of the screen, pretty much always remaining white or black.
I also was playing one flash game, which was working perfectly, but as soon as I entered full screen, it started flashing with white as crazy.
Macports Wine 1.7.11, Mac Os X 10.9 Mavericks
